Centre for Maximum Eradication of Poverty and Illiteracy in Africa (Cemepia Africa) is a registered non-profit organization committed to eliminating all forms of modern-day slavery, eradicating illiteracy, and alleviating poverty across the continent. Through targeted advocacy, skill acquisition programs, scholarships, annual stakeholder symposiums, and the rehabilitation and reintegration of victims, Cemepia Africa empowers individuals and transforms communities.

Empowering individuals with fashion design skills is a sustainable pathway to economic independence. By providing training in tailoring, pattern making, and garment production, we equip beneficiaries—especially women and youth—with the tools to launch their own businesses or secure employment in the fashion industry.
Our Mass Children Literacy Program is a bold initiative aimed at tackling the root of generational poverty by ensuring every child can read, write, and learn. Focused on underserved communities, this program provides access to foundational education, learning materials, and trained educators.
Bead making is more than an art—it’s a powerful tool for economic empowerment. Our skills acquisition program in handcraft focuses on training individuals, especially women and youth, in the intricate and profitable craft of bead making.
Our ICT Training Program is designed to bridge the digital divide by equipping youths and underserved individuals with essential computer and technology skills. From basic computer literacy to advanced digital tools, participants gain practical knowledge that enhances employability, supports entrepreneurship, and opens doors to global opportunities.
Our “Catch Them Young” initiative focuses on early intervention through education, mentorship, and life skills development for children and teenagers. By identifying and nurturing talents at a young age, we aim to instill confidence, discipline, and a strong sense of purpose.

Our Campaign Against Child Labour is dedicated to eliminating the exploitation of children through forced or premature work. Every child deserves the right to education, play, and a safe, nurturing environment.
