Board Members
Monday Ojon
Monday Ojon is the visionary Executive Director of the Centre for Maximum Eradication of Poverty and Illiteracy in Africa (CEMEPIA Africa). With a deep-rooted passion for human rights and social justice, he has been actively leading the fight against child trafficking and child labour since 2014. Under his leadership, CEMEPIA has launched impactful programs focused on education, advocacy, and skill development—empowering vulnerable communities across Africa. His commitment continues to inspire change and restore dignity to countless lives.
Don Akaegbu
Don Akaegbu serves as the Legal Partner of CEMEPIA Africa, bringing with him a wealth of experience as a human rights lawyer and passionate advocate for justice. His unwavering commitment to defending the rights of the vulnerable aligns deeply with CEMEPIA’s mission to eradicate poverty and illiteracy. With a sharp legal mind and a heart for social equity, Don provides expert legal guidance, ensuring the organization remains compliant, transparent, and impactful in all its operations. Gold Akaegbu, an innovative microbiologist-turned-fashion-designer and Chief Designer of Gold Rush Fashion Company, has been a valuable resource person to CEMEPIA Africa. Her unique blend of scientific expertise and creative vision has greatly enriched the organization’s skills acquisition programs, particularly in fashion design, where she continues to inspire and empower participants with sustainable and innovative approaches.

Stephen Chukwemeka Aniekwu, a former professional footballer with international experience, brings his passion for service to CEMEPIA Africa.
